The Dell 3110cn Printer - Things You'll Want To Know About This Office Printer
An ideal printer for a small business and a home based business is the Dell 3110cn printer using Dell Color Laser 3110cn toner cartridge. It is a good quality versus price color laser printer. Out of the box it is ready for networking and has an available memory upgrade, a duplex, and a wireless adapter.
The print resolution is 600 x 600 dpi in black and white printing. It will print up to 31 ppm in black and white and 17 ppm in color at the default setting. Color graphics will print a little slower, but it will still be of satisfactory quality. Some time should be devoted to calibrate the color printing to get the best graphic printing.

All drawers hold plain, glossy and thicker stock paper. Use them at the same time to print various size sheets of paper.
It comes standard with a 10/100 Ethernet, 2.0 high speed USB port and a parallel port. The Ethernet port allows network printing. The connection also allows you to see how much toner is being used and when it is necessary to order new toner. The ability to have it reordered automatically also exists. There is a wireless adapter available for wireless printing. This costs about $150.
A 400 MHz processor comes standard allowing for quick execution of printing tasks. The RAM memory is 128 MB, but can be upgraded up to 1,152 MB. The maximum upgrade will benefit users of network printing, preventing slow printing and back up of print jobs. A smaller upgrade will free computer memory if there are a lot of print jobs to be done. One memory expansion slot is also standard.
A printer cart may be a consideration as this is a sizable printer. The multipurpose tray will also need support in front. It comes in silver and black standard. It sits 19.1 inches deep, 15.8 inches wide and 15.8 inches tall, weighing about 53 lbs.
At $499, the Dell 3110cn printer is a deal for the quality it produces. This is not the printer for typical home use. It is best used as a tool for a home or small business. It handles multiple jobs with professional color and black and white printing producing invoices, letterhead, brochures and other business necessities.

printer query please help?
i have epson printer which has four inks ie. yellow,black,cyan,pink .what if i put all black ink cartridges in all four ink slots.
It would not work as the printer would detect they are the wrong ones as the chips on each colour have different information and so the printer would tell you you have the wrong ink.
Not only will the printer not print but you could ruin the printer as you will have black ink in all the nozzles so any colour you put in after will be stained with the black.
If you want to keep your printer do not put all black in the colour slots.
