Preparing A Special And Memorable Anniversary Date
You have got to admit that an anniversary is one event that you would need to prepare for. From the preparations, outfit, makeup, food, gift, all the way to the small details truly count. Of course, you would surely want everything to be perfect - or almost perfect.
For starters, everything comes with the preparations. You have to have a sound plan which would make the celebration memorable for both you and your honey. You may choose to have dinner in a fancy restaurant or hotel,
For the ladies, you should consider your outfit for that day. Whether you are going casual or outright formal, make sure that your makeup is on the natural side. You do not want to look like somebody else for that big day, don't you? Your casual skinny jeans can be spruced up with a pair of women's brown boots, or you can also pair it up with some casual dress. Remember to stick to something comfortable, but quite presentable that makes you feel beautiful.
Males should also be presentable for their women. A button-down shirt paired with a pair of black slacks or pants might be enough. Make sure that you also shave and keep your face smooth - unless your girl wants it rough, of course. Just prepare your best accessory - your smile. And of course, that perfume which she loves to smell on you. Be careful not to spray too much, though.
For those who love to make something personal, scrapbooks which detail how you two met and your memories together would be nice. It could also serve as a great photo album for the two of you. There are many scrapbooking tools which can help you compile all your favorite things together. Spice it up with movie tickets, little love notes, first time date receipts and other things which mean a lot to both of you. You can make it together on your anniversary date, and fill it as you go on with your relationship.
For a surprise date, then just be sure that it would really be a surprise. On the other hand, always try to fish out for information from your partner, because he/she might have something prepared for you, too.
If you love singing or you know your partner would love music, why don't you pick up guitar lessons and a takamine acoustic guitar? He or she would truly appreciate it knowing that you learned a song to sing for your big day. It would be in his or memory for a long time, and would be hard to erase. If you are a bit hesitant, go ahead and have someone to play - but be sure that you would try to sing.
When you are prepared enough, then look forward for that date. When the time comes, just let everything flow and enjoy everything you have worked for. After all, this is both your night so it is just fine for the two of you to enjoy each other's company.
THQ Kicks It Old School With Nexuiz (Game Informer)
With several huge franchises like Call of Duty, Halo, and Battlefield
dominating sales, the first-person shooter is unquestionably one of the most
popular genres in video games. This makes it all the more questionable that
the sub-genre that basically put multiplayer on the map -- arena shooters --
are nowhere to be seen in today's gaming landscape. THQ and developer Illfonic
hope to fill this gap with Nexuiz, an under-the-radar first person shooter
that brings back the thrill of high-octane arena shootouts.
The history of Nexuiz goes back to 2002, when a small group of Quake modders
put together the concept. A decade later, a revamped version of the popular
mod is coming to consoles and PC thanks to yet another small team born out of
the Quake modding community. Developer Illfonic, a team of only 10 guys, is
resurrecting the game with the CryEngine 3, the Crytek developed game engine
made famous by Crysis 2.
Given the bunny hopping, lightning fast navigation, and boisterous arsenal
featuring death dealers like rocket launchers and mortars, Nexuiz should feel
immediately familiar to anyone who cut their teeth on games like Unreal and
