My printer seems like it is feeding the paper too fast, why???
It's a NEC SuperScript 1450N, laser printer. On laser printers, it's supposed to printer one page at a time then the next page comes out after a slight pause, well mine, the first page prints fine, then the 2nd page is literally overlapping the first page when it's coming out. Then it jams when the 2nd page is halfway out.
I'm using regular print paper. 8 1/2 x 11. Fanned it before I put it in. The settings are all correct. What could it be?? Please help!
Actually, I JUST found out after I posted this question that it only happens when I print from the main paper tray. It prints perfectly fine when I print from the Manual Paper tray. Why would it be feeding too fast from the main paper tray when the Manual Paper tray works fine?
#1 - Store your paper in a drier environment because the humidity is causing the paper to stick.
#2 - The paper rollers on the printer could be going bad as well. They're about due for replacement. With the parts, the job should not take more than 45 minutes.
