Dell 1700n - The Affordable And Confident Printer
Small home or office businesses today are always looking for ways to save money. The reliable, inexpensive Dell1700n has been designed to do just that. Equipped with abilities usually found only in more expensive laser printers, the network-capable personal unit can handle just about any PC that runs Windows operating systems. But, if you need high-volume, high-capacity printing, it's probably smart to look around for something more capable. Dell 1700n Cartridge for the unit are also cheap, and easy to find.
Things to Remember. This is a printer made mostly for home or small office use, but it's also able to handle nice volumes of work usually only seen in printers a bit more expensive. It can print over 15,000 pages in a month, in fact, before it would need service or replacement of its imaging drum. Graphics aren't world-class, but for a printer of this cost, they're more than adequate. You might want to consider higher-line machines if you need detailed, graphics-rich printing found in letters and such.
Vital Statistics. The printer is easy enough to move around, at twenty-five pounds. It's also nicely proportioned in approximately square-foot dimensions, so it doesn't take up much room in an office. It comes equipped with standard USB and Ethernet ports, and also an older-style parallel port, for easy usage. You can access these ports at the rear of the unit. The 1700n also takes in paper manually (one-by-one) or from its paper tray, which has a max capacity of 250 sheets of paper. For additional cost, you can expand its paper storage upwards.
How Much to Own One? Using the standard Dell 1700n laser toner cartridge, located above the imaging device, the printer will deliver approximately 3,000 pages of copy before needing replacement. This number is more than enough for a small home or office business, generally speaking. You can purchase cartridges that go upwards of 5,000 or more, by the way.
How's Its Memory? The Dell 1700n Printer comes with 32MB of storage, which is suitable for most business apps. If you need more, you can expand the memory all the way up to 160MB. With the cost of memory these days, you won't be spending a lot of money to do so. The printer is compatible with most Windows PCs, even going back to Windows 98, which has almost disappeared from most desktops. You can connect the PC or networked computers through the USB, Ethernet or parallel ports. It also notifies you via an email when your toner is almost gone.
Printing Quality. The Dell 1700n delivers up to 1200dpi printing. There are also easy menus you can follow if you have complicated or double-sided print jobs to perform. It can insert watermarks once an administrator has put them into the system. In fact, there's an array of print features normally found in higher-priced machines.
Warranty and Cartridges. The 1700n has a one-year exchange warranty, which is standard in the industry. You can also purchase up to four more years for a nominal fee. Cartridges are easy to replace and don't cost a lot.
Should I Buy It? Look at what it is you need from a printer in this segment. If you run a home-based business, most definitely. If your small office needs a good, reliable printer that won't be called on for ultra-high printing, yes. Solid features, a good price, and Dell 1700n Toner that's inexpensive combine to make the Dell 1700n a fairly good deal. For more information, check out our site http://www.qtoner.us.
EnGenius wireless routers: Got XtraRange? (Albuquerque Journal)

LAS VEGAS - While most networking vendors intend to introduce the latest and
greatest at CES, EnGenius this year focuses on something that as old as
wireless networking itself: range.
Yet that might be the most important aspect of a wireless router. The company
announced today at CES 2012 a new family, called Engenius XtraRange, of
routers designed to offer significantly longer range and better coverage than
competing products.
EnGenius says that on top of the extra range, its new routers will also
provide top performance for the existing 802.11n standard, making them a good
fit for "bandwidth-intensive home entertainment applications such as digital
content streaming, VoIP phone calls, and videoconferencing.
The new routers include the ESR300H High-Power 2.4GHz 300Mbps Wireless-N
Router, the ESR600H High-Power Dual-Band 300 + 300Mbps Wireless-N Router, and
the ESR750H High-Power Dual-Band 300 + 450Mbps Wireless-N Router. The two
later routers also support Gigabit and come with a USB port to host a printer
or a storage device. The ESR750H also support EnGeinus's unique shAir feature
to additionally support ...
