i actually work for the refill place a previous answer named (but i can't say it myself because of non-disclosure policies). we do indeed offer a guarantee on all the work we do.
if you want to refill it on your own, you will need the following:
a utility/box knife
a syringe injector and a needle
ink
paper towels or newspaper to keep your work area safer from ink spillage
patience
cut the cap of the cart off (on the 19, i think this piece is bright yellow). be careful, lexmark caps break easy! do this by inserting the knife between the black part of the cart and the cap.
once the cap is removed, you should easily be able to see where the colours go. put no more than 8 (and probably much less) milliliters of ink in each colour section, rinsing your fill syringe thoroughly between each colour. if the section you're filling starts to back up while filling, please remove the excess ink. overfilling causes as many issues as letting a cart go dry.
gently press the ink ports of the cart against a paper towel to remove any extra ink that came out the bottom.
glue the cap back on (we use hot glue). print yourself a test.
if it looks good, you're great.
if you notice any streaking, try setting the cart (ink port down) in a dish of hot water for about a minute. then gently dry it off and test again.
if you still have issues, you may need a new cartridge. lexmarks are very finiicky little beasties and aren't always refillable.
